OM901 one-component structural sealant is a single component, high stability, neutral curing elastic sealant specially designed for structural assembly.
OM901 one-component structural sealant is not affected by sunlight, rainwater, wind and snow, and extreme high and low temperatures. Its unique weather resistance allows it to remain essentially unchanged even when exposed to harsh weather conditions and fully cured. The original design performance of the interface will not undergo significant changes due to aging and exposure to the atmosphere, and the sealant still has water and weatherproof characteristics.
The cured sealant remains elastic from a low temperature range of -60 ℃ to 180 ℃, without embrittlement, cracking, or tearing.
OM901 one-component structural sealant is compatible with most reflective glass and insulating glass.

Compatibility test
Materials Incompatibility can cause discoloration and even silicone sealant adhesion.
To avoid such problems and ensure compatibility between the material and silicone sealant,our company also conducts compatibility tests on the assembly auxiliary materials provided by the customer (such as cushion rods, pressure strips, and double-sided adhesive strips) with our silicone sealant products.
The materials or construction site samples used in the project must be provided to our company for bonding and compatibility testing.

The width of structural adhesive should not be less than 6mm.

Usage method
Surface cleaning
Remove all impurities and pollutants such as grease, dust, water stains, frost, surface dirt, residual sealant, assembly accessories, and protective coatings left at the joints and assembly parts.
Use primer
Generally,no requirement primer. If the adhesion test indicates primer requirement, apply the primer thinly to the interface surface with a clean, lint free cloth and let it dry before injection. Before injecting sealant, it’s necessary to conduct corresponding tests to determine whether primer needs to be applied.
Lining material
Open cell polyurethane foam, closed cell polyethylene foam or non deflating polyolefin material are recommended as cushion materials. For shallow joints that cannot accommodate foam rods, polyethylene tape can be used instead.
Shelter and correction
The area near the joint needs to be covered to ensure a perfect and neat appearance of the sealing area. Do not allow the masking tape to come into contact with the surface of the substrate that is about to be glued. After the finishing work is completed, the masking tape should be immediately removed.
Sealant injection
Continuously squeeze and fill the interface with OM901 one-component silicone structural sealant. Press the sealant onto the gasket material and interface surface with appropriate force, and the finishing process must be completed in one go after the injection of the sealant is completed and before the adhesive surface has peeled. It is recommended to use convex or suitable tools to smooth the adhesive surface, and soap and water cannot be used as auxiliary materials for trimming. After finishing, immediately remove the covering tape. On the glass assembly, the sealant injected at the bottom interface needs to be trimmed into an inclined surface to prevent water accumulation. In outdoor temperatures as low as -25 ℃, the ○M901
one-component silicone structural sealant can still be extruded and applied to a clean, dry, and frost free surface.

OM901 has not been tested or stated to be suitable for medical or medicinal use.
OM901 is not suitable for:
Joints in underground water or areas subject to excessive friction.
Long term immersion in water.
On the surface of building materials that may exude oil, plasticizers, solvents, or partially vulcanized rubber gaskets or tapes.
On frosted or damp surfaces.
Places that are completely out of contact with air during curing (sealant requires water vapor curing).
Application of paint on the surface of sealant (generally, paint cannot adhere to the surface of silicone).
