Product description

OM902 silicone weatherproof sealant is one component, non-sagging, neutral curing sealant. It can be easily extruded and used under most external environmental temperatures, and with the help of water vapor in the air, it reacts and solidifies to form a durable and elastic silicone sealant.

Colour

Black, grey, and white, special colors can also be negotiated and formulated according to customer requirements.

Usage method

Surface cleaning

Remove all impurities and pollutants such as grease, dust, water stains, frost, surface dirt, residual sealant, assembly accessories, and protective coatings left at the joints and assembly parts.

Sealant Injection

Install backing materials, isolation pads, pole isolators, and tape as required. The area connected to the joint should be covered with masking tape to ensure the cleanliness and aesthetics of the sealant sealing line

For non porous material surfaces, it’s usually not necessary to apply a primer to achieve good adhesion. However, for certain porous material surfaces, it may be necessary to apply a primer to ensure good adhesion. It is recommended to conduct adhesion testing before project starting.

Continuously squeeze OM902 silicone weatherproof sealant into and fill the joint (sealant can be applied using pneumatic glue guns and other glue injection equipment).When OM902 silicone weatherproof sealant surface has not yet peeled, use appropriate force to press the sealant flat on the backing material and joint surface, and smooth the surface of the sealant.

After leveling, immediately remove the masking tape. Do not use liquids such as water, soapy water,or alcohol to help with leveling.

Precautions for operation

If accidentally entering the eyes, immediately rinse with plenty of water.

Avoid prolonged contact with skin and avoid contacting with children.

Do not contaminate food, drugs, or cosmetics.

Use restrictions

OM902 has not been tested or stated to be suitable for medical or medicinal use.

OM902 is not suitable for:

Joints in underground water or areas subject to excessive friction.

Long term immersion in water.

On the surface of building materials that may exude oil, plasticizers, solvents, or partially vulcanized rubber gaskets or tapes.

On frosted or damp surfaces.

Places that are completely out of contact with air during curing (sealant requires water vapor curing).

Application of paint on the surface of sealant (generally, paint cannot adhere to the surface of silicone).
