【Product Introduction】

OM insulating glass hot melt butyl rubber is a one-component sealant based on polyisobutylene rubber, which is solvent-free, non-fogging, non-vulcanizing, and has permanent plasticity. It maintains plasticity and sealing performance within a relatively high temperature range, and its surface does not crack or harden. It has excellent adhesion, air tightness and outstanding UV resistance to building materials such as glass, aluminum alloy, galvanized steel and stainless steel. Due to its extremely low water vapor transmission rate, it can form an excellent moisture-resistant system with two layers of sealant and is an ideal sealant for insulating glass.


【Product Introduction】

The surface must be clean, dry, free of dust and grease. Before extrusion, it needs to be heated to 100℃ to 150℃ and coated with a dedicated hot melt butyl extruder.


【Storage and Validity period】

Best storage conditions: Cool, well-ventilated and dry place

Storage period: 24 months
